Edward G. Nardi
President


Ed brings 27 years of real estate development, investment and management experience to Cresset. He founded Cresset to focus on opportunities solely in New England, principally the Greater Boston area. Since the firm's inception in 2000, he has been involved in all aspects of the company's projects which have an approximate aggregate total of $400 million.

Prior to founding Cresset, he was president and a principal of the three operating companies of Intercontinental, a group of real estate development, construction and management companies based in Boston. During his 17 years at Intercontinental, Ed was involved in the acquisition and development of projects totaling more than $750 million, spanning the full range of asset classes including commercial office,multi-residential, mixed-use, hotel and industrial. Many of the redevelopment opportunities had the added component of historic rehabilitation, which increased returns by use of tax credits. Ed also has extensive experience with environmental remedial work and brownfields for publicly traded companies.

Prior to Intercontinental, Ed served as a field engineer for Walsh Brothers, Inc., one of Boston's leading engineering and contracting firms. He also spent time with Skidmore Owens & Merrill, a nationally renowned architectural firm. He received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Princeton University.
