Jimmy's Harborside site lease to be negotiated
January 21, 2006 — The Massachusetts Port Authority's board of directors this week voted to negotiate a long-term agreement with Harborside LLC for redevelopment of the Jimmy's Harborside Restaurant site on Northern Avenue on the South Boston Waterfront. Harborside LLC is a joint venture of Cresset Development and the restaurant, which closed this month after about 75 years of operation by three generations of the James Doulos family. The vote authorized construction of a two-building restaurant complex of more than 50,000 square feet.
